Myself, spouse, 16 yr old daughter and her best friend visited Waikiki/O'ahu April 2008. We rented a 1 bdrm kitchenette for 8 nights. It was a corner unit, great space, clean room/hotel, extremely friendly staff, very accomodating. Short walk(2 blocks) to the beach and very near shopping and International Marketplace. Only complaint...pullout sofabed mattress wasn' t all that comfortable. Good... more

We stayed at the Ohana East for 1 night at the beginning and 3 nights at the end of our vacation in November 2007. The hotel is in a great location, 1 block back from the beach, ABC store right across the road and plenty of eateries within a short distance. Check in on both occasions was a breeze, staff... more

Took my mom to Hawaii in November of 2005 for vacation. Asked for a room near the top, which was honored. Forgot to ask to be away from elevators, we were right next door to them and the maids closet. Neither of which was too much of a bother. Nice, clean room - however the beds were pretty hard! After... more

My family (including 3 children ) stayed at the Ohana East and we were very pleasantly surprised. We had read some people complaining that it was expensive, but that is their travel agent's fault. We had a 1 bedroom kitchenette on the 18th floor and we recieved ocean views ( we did not pay for ocean views). The room was clean, the maid... more

We stayed here for two weeks this past February as part of a pro-bowl vacation and it was a nice stay (not Fabulous) but nice.We had a few issues upon checking in the room, the bathroom needed to be re-cleaned and the closet in the bathroom seemed rather odd, the wait for the elevators seemed quite lengthy but we were... more

Our travel agent included this hotel in our Pro Bowl 2008 package for a 12 day stay. For $300 more in total for the stay, we could have stayed at the Sheraton 1-1/2 blocks away and boy do we regret not paying the extra money. For starters, some of the rooms on floor 5 have the one closet in room... more

My girlfriend and I just spent 10 days in Honolulu staying at the Ohana East. We couldn’t have made a better choice. The location is prefect and the staff is the best. Easy walk to the beach and the International Marketplace. Our return flight home didn’t leave till after 10:00 pm that night. The Ohana East has a hospitality suite... more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and two kids (7 and 9) from Jan/1 - 7 for approximatley $150/night. As I had expected, it was a basic hotel room with two extra long double beds with little frills. However, there were some suprises that I had not expected: - Free in-room Internet access. - Free in-room long distance... more

We booked a 7 night stay at this hotel by going to the Fairfield (now Wyndham) website and booking what they call a getaway trip. We paid close to 300 pp not including airfare. I am a bargin hunter and this fit the bill for me and my husband. Our room was as small as a closet and the shower... more

I was lucky enough to earn six free nights at the Ohana East . I would definitely stay here again. My room was decorated in a beach-like theme--mostly beiges. The furniture was a light wood, which goes with a beach theme. It was not fancy but nice. My bathroom was small but quite adequate. The room had a refrigerator and... more
