First of all, I love the location of this hotel. Right at the tip of Waikiki and about 3 blocks from the ocean. Don't bother with a rental car because this hotel is 1 block from a bus stop. I would suggest if you plan on using the bus for your main transportation, you purchase a 4 day travel pass... more

I stayed with my family (2 kids) in a condo for ten days, and overall it was quite nice. Service is good, location is very nice as it is a little out of the mainstream but you can get to waikiki beach in 3 minutes walk. Only weak point is that rooms are maybe a little old, but that reflects... more

We have just returned from a terrific two week holiday in honolulu, this motel is ideal for families all the staff were very friendly and obliging, the motel is an older style one but while we were they had started renovations, although the motel itself does not have a restaurant there are plenty of great ones very close by, it... more

Stayed for 4 nights in a 1 bedroom apt. We were upgraded to an ocean view room. Hotel is in the process of being renovated, and it needs it badly. The rooms are very dated, but large and clean and everything in them that you need. Also, has a good size balcony. Big outdoor area, with pool, tennis court and... more

Ofcourse we have seen the reviews but you should be there before you can judge. First of all, we booked an ocean view but due to renovations we got a mountainview. (they only renovate 2 floors at a time) So that was weird, there must be more floors with ocean view. So my husband went downstairs, he was not happy... more

Aloha! My partner and I just returned from our wonderful trip to Waikiki and thought we would share about our experiences at the ResortQuest Waikiki Sunset hotel. Check-in was a breeze! We had booked a cheap one bedroom with no view and were given an ocean view on a high floor. Was the room a bit dated in furnishings? Sure... more

My family and I stayed at this hotel for a total of 10 days. I paid extra for an ocean view room and I am glad I did because that is the best thing the Waikiki Sunset has to offer. We stayed on the 32nd floor and I have to say that we did not have any problems whatsoever with... more

This was the second time that my family (husband and 2 babies)stayed at the Hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. At first however, we were not completely satisfied with our rooms as there was not a great view. My parents were also travelling with us, so we spoke with Reception and moved to the Penthouse all together. It was fantastic.... more

I was a little apprehensive about staying here after reading some of the reviews here. But our family of four spent a fabulous Labor Day weekend here. We were not in one of the recently renovated rooms, but no complaints here. elevator wait times were minimal, a minute or two at most. Rooms were clean, kitchen in good working order.... more

I actually won a trip, personally I never win anything. It was through Apple Vacations and I was allowed a set amount and told I could go anywhere I wanted. My fiance and I decided on Hawaii, well she did. As we looked at the Hotels and using the Apple Vacations web page, we found nice hotels along the beach... more
