Prior to staying at the Ilikai, I had read many of the reviews. I must admit I was concerned about what we would find. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a newly remodeled room with a view of the Hyatt Lagoon and the Ocean beyond. The room was quite beautiful. It was a studio with a kitchen. Stainless steel appliances,... more

My wife and I recently spent two nights at the Ilikai for our anniversary, and I must say, I was not impressed. As we checked in, I asked the clerk if they had wireless internet. He told me that the lobby had wireless and the rooms had wired only, both for a fee of $13 a day. Come on...I can... more

Stayed in a Ocean Lagoon Kitchen room for $150 a night. When we arrived they tried to get me to upgrade to a newly remodeled room. This room was nice and clean. Kitchen was good other than it was missing dish soap and the pan was not non-stick. Great location though. It overlooks the marina and is close to the... more

My husband and 2 college age children stayed in an Ocean View Kitchen unit and had a wonderful experience. What I want in a hotel is a clean room, comfortable bed, lots of space to move around, a space to grab a meal on the go (like breakfast when the shower is up for grabs!), and a convenient location. We... more

Our stay was on July 13th-18th. We had a great time. The hotel staff was very friendly, when we arrived around 12:30 pm our room was ready for us. We stayed on the 25th floor ocean side and it had a great view. If we needed anything we would call the front desk and they took care of it immediately.... more

This is not a place that you would to stay!! Contrary to what the website says this hotel lacks a lot. 1) Cleaniness-the hotel staff ONLY vacuums, changes sheets, cleans room, etc. if you pay an addtional $35/day on top of the room rate. The curtains and carpet had stains on them. 2) Parking-was valet only and it is an... more

We stayed one week from 6/28/08-7/5/08. We booked through a private owner. Upon arrival, the kitchen sink was filled with sewage water. Our garbage disposal did not work for 3 days. After that, life was better. The room was clean. The hotel is undergoing major renovations to existing rooms and storefronts. There are virtually NO stores to shop below. The... more

I stayed with my wife at the hotel between the end of may and begining of June 2008 for 7days on the 22nd floor. When we first got there we rented a car so there was not free parking it was valet parking $25.00 per night. So, the valet parking was expensier than the car rental itself. As for room... more

We stayed at the Ilikai from the 9th to the 16th June. We had a standard cityview hotel room which was very spacious. Bed was extremely comfortable. Air con was very old and noisy but it did keep the room cool which was the important thing. As written in previous reviews, yes the elevators are terribly slow. Yes, maid service... more
