Restaurant employees just ignored us when we came down for breakfast. No one greeted us when we entered restaurant and had to have person at front desk call for table help. Rooms and halls seemed to be below the quality I've seen from Best Western hotels. more

The first time I stayed in Philly, I wanted to be right in the heart of Rittenhouse Square so I stayed at the Latham. That hotel is REALLY overrated and I had a view of a brick wall. This time, we brought our beagle and stayed at the Best Western. We had a view of the pool, which was very... more

we had a poor experience staying at this hotel. We booked this hotel because it was close to the Zoo and had a pool. In calling to confirm our reservation the hotel clerk was rude. When we arrived at the hotel, we found out that the only pool was closed, due to renovations. This was never mentioned when booking, even though... more

I'm usually very tolerant with hotels. A budget traveler, I'm always prepared to be surprised. We stayed here over President's Day weekend and I was sorely lamenting the fact that the other Best Western in the city didn't have rooms available (I had stayed at that location exactly the year before and loved everything about it.) First off, if you... more

After reading all the reviews on this hotel, I had nightmares. Literally. I feared it would be dirty and unsafe. I found the hotel to be clean, the staff to be pleasant and helpful, and the location to be great. It was safe and a bargin for the city. However, the decor could use updating, and the hotel was dark.... more

I stayed at this hotel because I was looking for a location close to the downtown area (Chestnut/Walnut/30th St, etc) without paying for the Sheraton or Loew's. The going rate was $165, I booked on Expedia for $145 (which is still the reg. price when you add local taxes, very clever, Expedia). Neither price is worth the simplicity and lack... more

Stayed April 11-13 and was very apprehensive beforehand because of previous reviews. But, I decided to take a chance because I wanted to be within walking distance of the Museum of Art for the Frida Kahlo exhibit. The outside is a bit run down, but the hallways & room were fine. Front desk was helpful in giving directions. The location... more

I was here at this Best Western this weekend. It continues to be one of my favorite hotels in Philadelphia. Clerks allowed me to check in early. Housekeeping was extremely prompt in putting new batteries in remote. Very quiet, nice location, not too far from airport, very nice taxi stand! more

Maybe other people have had a better experience but I think this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was non-smoking but still smelled like smoke. When I pulled back the covers there was a hair on the sheets AND in the bathroom trash can there was a q-tip - even if it was a clean... more

Me and my husband got to the hotel and the woman who checked us in was very helpful. We walk up to our room along the way saying hello to the house keeping and they all just looked at us with this "snot" attitude. Okay, their just having a bad day we thought. We went to lunch at their Sports... more
