We returned to NYC for a family holiday (3 of us) after a 15 year absence. We decided that we wanted a comfortable, centrally located hotel and the Times Square Hilton scores extremely well in both these regards. The hotel is located in the heart of Times Square so it provided an excellent starting point for any New York adventure... more

The Lobby was recently was given an update--very nice modern look. Our check-in process was pleasant. Actually all the staff we encountered were very friendly. We used HHonors points and we were given the top floor view room! Loved the clean, spacious new modern interior and bathrobes. The hotel is located on a very busy street, but we didn't hear... more

We used Hilton points to stay at this hotel. It's surprisingly hip and funky, for a Hilton, with somewhat contemporary furnishings. We had a great flat screen, high-def TV in the room and nice art. The bathroom was just standard, but the room size was large for NYC. We had one snafu with the room safe--when we returned one afternoon,... more

Stayed for four nights on the 25 Aug, All i can say is that the hotel is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful even when we had a problem with our booking agent all sorted quickly. Room was spotless, very modern and located on the 31t floor. Bed was huge and was very comfy and the view was great... more

My wife, 3-year-old son and I stayed at the Hilton for one night on Saturday, August 23, 2008. We used HHonors points for our stay. We arrived at 11:40 am and were able to check in. We were given a room on the 35th floor, facing 42nd street. The view was great and there was very little street noise, except... more

We, a family of 5, stayed here in 2 rooms, 4013+4014, for 2 nights on HHonors points. Checkin was without problems. Only disappointing to hear that only the HHonors card holder gets a complementary breakfast. However he can invite 1 guest. This forced us to send our kids across the street to get a breakfast....... $26 without taxes is too... more

Had been staying at the Waldorf for my husband's business meetings. But moved here when we were footing the bill. You go up an elevator to the 22nd floor to find the lobby. This made a much quieter hotel stay in NY. And it is right in Times Square district. Plenty of everything close, close, close. We watched Maraha Carey... more

I spent 5 days at the Hilton Times Square in July 2008 with my girlfriend. The hotelis located just next to Times Square in 42nd Street above the Madam Tussaud's museum. The street is one of the busiest streets in New York being a kind of continuation of Times Square, featuring a lot of lights and tourist attractions (Tussaud's, various... more

The location is decent and close to Broadway shows. It is a very crowded and loud area, also difficult to get cabs in front of hotel due to pedestrian traffic and road closings (random). Room was larger than a typical NYC hotel room but nothing special. Staff was way below average. Very long waits at check in, no follow ups... more

We recently stayed at this hotel for a wedding that we attended at the Tavern on the Green in Central Park. I found this hotel to be very centrally located. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum was right outside about 2 doors down, there is an Applebees on the hotel ground level, Coldstones across the street and any type of food you... more
