My husband and I stayed here for one night. We upgraded to a club level room and thoroughly enjoyed the complimentary club floor appetizers in the evening and the buffet breakfast the following morning. We had a room overlooking the pool, marina and bay - it was fabulous. Our room had recently been remodeled and it was great. The bed... more

There are actually two hotels on this property - one is the Bay Tower and one is the Marina Tower. I was unfortunate enough to stay in the Bay Tower. Stayed three nights. Checked in just before midnight the first night. I got stuck on the ground floor to begin with. Then, I was not notified that there would be... more

My car was broken into at this Sheraton property. The cost for repairs was over $2500. Sheraton employees acknowledged that this is a 'high crime area.' And they knew that a rowdy bunch from a wedding party were causing trouble that night. Yet they provided no security to prevent the burglary. Although the lot has a Sheraton sign, and the... more

Stayed 5 nights attending a conference in mid-Sept. I was lucky enough to get a recently renovated room but travelled with a colleague who wasn't - less than impressive. My balcony overlooked San Diego skyline and the bay which was nice. Room was clean, comfortable but drastically over-priced...this is not a resort by any means. Mini fridge would have been... more

I stayed here for 2 nights when this hotel had a great promotion, so I feel I definitely got my money's worth. I don't like the $20 daily parking fee but that is pretty standard in large cities in California (San Fran hotels can charge up to $50 a day!). I had a marina building room, 6th floor, facing the... more

Been there recently for a conference. The room was big enough, had a balcony and the view was great, overlooking the marina. Those were the only good things about the room. A mini-fridge would have been nice. The carpet, the upholstered furniture and even the drapes were stained. The pool is nice and the property overall is well taken care... more

My friend and I stayed here while attending Comic-Con this summer. I was apprehensive, because I had heard horror stories regarding hotel rooms booked through the official Con site, and our flight was arriving at 10 AM, a whole 5 hours before check-in. We decided to head to the hotel early anyways, to see if they could at least hang... more

Expect smallish rooms that are badly in need of remodeling. Shower is just a trickle, carpet is worn, TV is ten years old, etc. I paid extra for the club floor, on the top two floors of the hotel. However, my room overlooked the service area for the tent they had erected for a conference. There was noise of forklifts... more

We have been to San Diego many times and tend to stay on Shelter Island - but things were pretty booked, so we opted for the Sheraton on Harbor Island. I had been there before for business conventions (just during the day, but was not booked into the Sheraton) and it had been fine. We stayed in the 'bay' tower,... more

We arrived at the hotel and check in was very quick. We booked a regular room with a minimal view, but we had guests visiting us from France and the hotel employee gave us a free upgrade to a room with a view of the Marina. He was a very nice man and the hotel was great. The view was... more
