Our family of 5 stayed 5 nights at the Homewood Suites and loved it. We used Hilton Honor Points and were upgraded to a 2 bedroom unit. I always appreciate when managers are willing to do this. I'm hard to please and I liked this hotel. It’s a simple place right across the street from a Navy base. There are lots of military personnel and families staying there. My wife and two sons (12 and 8) booked a two bedroom suite for $399 a night. Room was just big enough and the pool was small but clean/fun.... more

We returned to Vancouver BC last evening after spending two nights at the Homewood Suites, Lanning Road San Diego. Everything about this hotel is excellent, the staff, the rooms, the complementary breakfasts,the pool and with only a 5 minute drive to the airport. Have already recommended it to friends.
