We live North of Boston and decided to grab a room in town for the weekend to hook up with friends and not deal with the hassle of driving in and out of the city. The Omni is a historic hotel in a great location for tourists wanting to explore the city. It's easily accessible to loads of tourist attractions,... more
I have never written a hotel review before but I had such a great experience at the Omni Parker House I felt that I needed to share my experience. First of all, I received a great rate for their deluxe room in a hotel in the very center of the tourist district. The hotel was beautiful, reminiscent of a time... more
Lovely, historic hotel conveniently located on Boston's Freedom Trail. Rooms are small ( single occupancy rooms are reminiscent of Pullman accommodations) but well appointed. On the plus side the food in the main dining room was outstanding in terms of sourcing and quality. The concierge suggested creative inexpensive nearby activities. more

This is my second review of this hotel. I stayed here exactly a year ago when the renovations were still underway. The wait is worth it and the work has been sensitively carried out. We stayed in the Winthrop suite. Nice view down onto the Freedom trail and some historic buildings. Yes, the rooms are a little tight on space... more
My wife and I stayed here for four nights at thestart of our trip round New England. The hotel is elegant with helpful staff and an excellent restaurant and a very convenient location on the Freedom Trail The rooms are rather small and only had a standard double bed but otherwise clean and comfortable As neither my wife or I... more
I did not know all about the history of this hotel prior to staying. I got the reservation two days before I left on my trip. When I was there I heard about it being the oldest hotel in operation from our trolley tour driver. Since then I have done some research and found out all kinds of things that... more
