The Intercontinental is a striking hotel both inside and out. The lobby is lovely with Murano glass scattered throughout. Comfy sitting areas and a fire place make it inviting. The rooms are decent sized and comfortable but the bathroom is extraordinary. There is a huge bathtub plus a glass shower stall and lots of marble. There was noise that could... more

We really liked this hotel. We got a great deal direct from the hotel website. The room we had was massive and the bathroom was amazing. Although I really did not like the sliding window between the bathroom and bedroom ..... but that was just me. The location was great. South station is only a few mins walk away from... more

The Intercontinental is a lovely hotel. The restaurant & bar are exceptional. Just problem while i was there in Oct. There is a building site to the right of the hotel, where many of the rooms face! So noise can be a problem. Also the front of the hotel faces the Boston fire Dept. That was very noisy on 1 of... more

At check-in I was greatly impressed with the hotel. Of course with a $400 price, the hotel should be top notch. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable looking. As soon as I arrived in the room, I called guest services to request that the down pillows and down comforter be removed from my room due to allergies. In addition,... more

Nice, clean hotel. Great location. Took a water taxi from Logan, a quick 5 minute ride for $10. Clean rooms, nice tub and seperate shower. Great restaurants and bar in hotel too. more

We recently stayed for a long weekend at the Intercontinental Boston. It is a good, very modern business hotel. However, it is not up to the standard of other five star hotels in Boston and other major cities. The hotel's design is well done, open, modern and bright. The lobby is a bit stark. Rooms are well done. Bathrooms very... more

Stayed here thanks to a great rate on Hotwire. I can only really comment on it as a visitor, but all is good. Worked well for us as a good value break in Boston by avoiding ALL extras, which are really only good value for those visiting on expenses. Located near the financial district it worked perfectly for us as... more

Arrived around midnight after a 4 hour flight. Was told the hotel had a maintenance issue and they would have to find another hotel for me. Another gentleman had been waiting 20 minutes when I arrived. Did they have to wait until I showed up to find a room? Finally, they found a room at the Holiday Inn Express -... more

The hotel is beautiful, and in a great location (close to the South Station T) and a short walk to Government Center. Our king room was 400 square feet, and had a wonderful soaking tub. We found it very relaxing, and spa-like, with a comfortable bed and great service. Highly recommended. more

The Intercontinental in Boston is at a suburb location -- close to train systems and the center of town. Lovely views and well-appointed rooms. Service on the weekend we stayed was spotty. On September 20 (a Saturday night) late night room service was punctual and the food excellent. Retrieval of the mess took a while. When we made a toiletry... more
