Wife & I stayed overnight while settling our offspring in at Lamar Univ. Andrew checked us in & was very courteous & efficient. He does need to brush up on the restaurants available to guests & be able to give clear, concise directions to them using the desk copy map. Upon entering the room it had an unpleasant odor. Was seeking a pet friendly place to stay overnight on a long road trip and this was it. (There are 2 La Quintas in Beaumont - this was the one on I-10 closest to Houston.) Based on a one-night stopover, I would give the La Quinta a high recommendation for its very comfortable and clean accomodations, a friendly check-in staff, and a perfectly fine, if fairly tyical, continental style breakfast included in the quite reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again if in Beaumont. more
