We spent 2 nights and found the staff to be very friendly. The location is great, only 2 blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. The room was nice given this is not a 5 star property so our expectations were exceeded. Overall, it was a great value and we would stay again. more

First off, we booked this hotel through Priceline. We got it from Sunday to Wednesday for $135 a night, which was a great deal and I think very good value. It's certainly worth the booking price via their own website but you can find a good deal out there for it too. The Tuscan Inn was a great place to... more

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel on the 23rd August for 3 nights and had an enjoyable stay. It is in a great location, 5 minute walk to Fisherman 's Wharf promenade and 5 minute walk to a tram stop. We were given a room over looking the street which proved to be noisey. The reception staff were... more

Completed a 3 night stay at the end of September, at the Tuscan Inn - which was excellent! Great location. Room was great - this was an outside room - so a bit of expected street noise - but not obtrusive. Staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The Concierge staff - exceptional and extremely helpful - right from suggestions on transportation/excursion... more

This hotel seems to get very mixed reviews, particularly about the reception desk staff. I can only think that some of the staff are very good and some equally bad, since our experience was a very positive one. We were greeted warmly and asked how we had enjoyed our stay on leaving. Both check in (when we were able to... more

We were anticipating a special stay for our anniversary trip. The front desk staff couldn’t even be bothered to greet us hello. She took our confirmation information and was annoyed that we didn't have an additional copy to give her. The room was clean and nicely decorated but very small. The view from our 4th floor window was of two... more

Having stayed at the Argonaut on a previous trip, we were interested to see how the Tuscan would compare. It did not disappoint and cost less for our 4 day stay. The location is fantastic - a 5 minute walk to the Wharf and close to bus and trolley stops. Having read previous reviews, we requested a courtyard room. We... more

The hotel was nice. The rooms were nice. No complaints. Close to public transport and walking distance to restaraunt. This was probably not the best pick for us as we don't like tourist areas and Fishermans Wharf if one big tourist service. The food and drink prices in the area were outrageous. Summary: best place to stay in a tourist... more

I originally requested a courtyard room but since we checked in around 11 a.m. the front desk person said one would be available around 3 p.m. but they had a 4th floor room facing the street available immediately. I am a very light sleeper so I’ll admit I was apprehensive about having a room facing the street. We were pleased... more

This was a wonderful Hotel. After reading some of the bad reviews, we started to worry about staying here. Our worries washed away the moment we reached the hotel. The staff was amazing, and went out of their way to help us. The coffee and treats in the moring was amazing. The wine and treats at night were great also,... more
