It was a very lovely property. Beautiful grounds and landscaping. The beach was as nice as it gets in Key West. A little rocky but not too bad. It was great to swim in the ocean, and have a gorgeous ocean view. Our first cottage was a two-bedroom; very nice and clean and a beautiful porch and view. A little... more

Beautiful island and excellent accomodations. My husband and I got away for a few days here and absolutely loved it. The service was impeccable. If you want a quiet place to get away this is definitely the place. Once you get off the boat and step onto the island it is paradise. Very quiet. It was a great respite from... more

I will start with this is my seventh stay at this property. It was previously a Hilton and was awesome. It changed to a Westin late in 2006. I was last there a few weeks into the change. This was my first "real" visit to the Westin version of this property. What a decline !! The service is half as... more

We just returned from spending a week at the property. It was one of the most perfect vacations. The service was great and the cottage was great. There were only a few things that could have make the experience perfect. The cottage was a great size. There were five of us and it never felt overly crowded. The kitchen was... more

Sunset Key is a nice respite from Key West. It is a very nice little island that is very easy to get to and the water taxi runs 24 hours a day. We never had to wait. The cottages were very cute with tin roofs and ours had large verandahs. They were nicely appointed although our second bathroom was small,... more

My family and I stayed at the Sunset Cottages in the begining of January. From check in to check out the service was excellent. When you check into the Sunset Cottages you have to check in at the Westin on the mainland of Key West. Once check in is complete all of your luggage is sent over on a boat... more

The hotel was excellent and a nice getaway from the crowds and rowdiness in the drunken cruisers in Key West. Go into town after the last cruise ship leaves, and you'll have a great experience. The rooms were nice and clean, maybe could use a little updating and the restaurant was great. The service was a little lacking.... not quite... more

I guess when you consider the fact the resort is completely isolated form the rest of the world, its worth an extra star. This is perhaps the most appealing characteristic about this resort. The facilities are nice but getting tired after my 6th visit over the last 8 years. The service was good and efficient. The beach is beautiful and... more

Our 6th or 7th time to Sunset Key but first since Westin took over. Very few changes noticed and overll the setting and the cottages are very nice. The cottages could use an overhaul with come new carpets and additinal horizontal surfaces in the bathrooms . Food/drinks at Latitudes continue to be pricey and a bit skimpy . Staff was... more

We really liked this one. Our 2 bedroom cottage came up right against the sand of the beach which is gorgeous, and is 50 steps from the restaurant and 100 steps from the pool. Real convenient for those with kids. Food and beverage on the island is excellent for lunch at the pool and dinner at the Latitudes restaurant; breakfast... more
