We agree with all the reviews which describe this place as a wonderful experience 'getting back to nature'. The cabinas are open to the rainforest and you sleep under mosquito nets with the sound of the forest around you. The food was excellent every evening. My favorite part of my 2 week trip to Costa Rica despite the ornery owners. The location is off the beaten track. The vision for the place is right on...sustainable living, healthy food, beautiful surroundings ...too bad the owners are rude and unpleasant. If you can put up with their unfriendly attitudes, then you will have a very nice stay. more

This is a great way to get a "jungle" experience and not have to pay the couple of hundred dollars more per night that the high end resorts charge. We enjoyed every moment of our stay there.
