Location Location Location. It could not have been in a better place. The hotel has top notch amenities including free interenet in your room. The room service was spectacular and the pad thai was the BEST we've ever had by far! They have boats that take you across the Bangkok River and you walk straight into the city. If you... more

This place is just magical ... the staff are so friendly, the hotel is luxurious, sparkly and clean ... i loved the ice cream with chocolate sauce and m&ms. This was my first trip to Bangkok and it was great to be able to cross the river and relax at the hotel facilities. We never got to use the spa,... more

We have been to Bangkok for about 30 times and we always stay at the Oriental. The Peninsula on the other side of the river was voted as the "#1 hotel in Bangkok" for several years. We are interested to know what this hotel has in store for the guests in order to earn this title repeatedly. Therefore, we booked... more

As mentioned by others Tripadvisor reviews a stay at the Peninsula Bangkok is something extraordinary. The breakfast on the terrace overlooking the Chao Phraya River is an outstanding experience. Rooms are extremely beautiful and the views a major attraction. The staff could not have more attentions to the clients, especially in the swimming pool and the shuttle boats. Only some... more

The Peninsula was by far the best hotel stay I've ever had. My wife and I went there as part of our honeymoon trip and the entire experience was top-notch. The staff, amenities, and overall atmosphere is world-class. The restaurants would be 5 star here in L.A., and the location was great for traveling within Bangkok. I can't say enough... more

Based on reviews from Tripadvisor, stayed at the Peninsula Bangkok for a family vacation. Service was great. Got a car from the Peninsula to pick us up, they had someone to meet us right after we cleared customs! Air conditioning in the car, cold water to drink made for a very relaxing ride to hotel after a long plane ride.... more

I had such high expectations from the Peninsula and it was supposed to be the perfect ending to my Asian adventure but it completely fell short. Maybe because I am young(19) I didn't get the respect they probably reserve for their other guests. The average age was around 40 I believe with very few families. The hotel itself is very... more

Lots has already been written about the Peninsula Bangkok in the forum. I mostly agree with them. I stayed in a deluxe suite three years ago and overall the experience was good but not excellent. The airport pick-up service was marvellous, concierges helpful, suite nice, pool area okay, breakfast excellent. Still the hotel lacked the intimacy that for example Mandarin... more
