My wife and I satyed for 5 nights at the start of October and can honestly say only excellent things about Riad Hayati. From the location that is close enough to walk to all the main points of interest, to the staff (Abdul and Mina), the decor, the food and general feeling of unobtrusive service and style. In fact, i... more

My wife and I and 4 friends stayed at Riad Hayati the last week in September, 2008, which was also the last week of Ramadan. The riad is very romantic, absolutely beautiful and located in the heart of Marrakech. The staff is incredible. The food at Hayati is, without a doubt, the best food in all of Marrakech, and that... more

Marrakech with its wealth of historical cultural and artistic diversity, Hayati offers the discerning traveller the opportunity to enjoy Marrakech at its best from the fabulous Bahia palace area in the Medina, To help first time travellers to Marrakech I would like to help choose the right Riad while visiting this amazing ancient city. Riad Hayati represents the ultimate in... more

My partner and I just came back from a few days in Marrakech. We booked into this particular riad because we heard so much about it on TA. It is a shame that it did not resemble what we expected it to. Our greeting was not the friendly warm one we thought we would receive, but a rushed hasty one.... more

No guest at Riad Hayati has ever made such claim. It is clear that the writer of this review has never stayed with us. RC Owner

Our week at Riad Hayati was enchanting - something our of Arabian nights. Old Persia meets new Morocco at this wonderful property in the ancient Marrakech medina. Hayati is an exquisite model of understated elegance, charm and comfort without any pretension. Truly a tonic for the senses after a day in the mad,mad bazaars. Abdel and Mina were extraordinary in their... more

We have stayed in some of the top rated hotels in the world and we are not easy to please. It took us 1 month of research to find the hotel we thought was right for us in Marrakesh, this one blew us away. We had the new suite which is a great room with plunge pool just the ticket... more

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The hotel is quite nice looking and the rooms are quite nice - as long as you hold your breath. My friend and I both experienced an unpleasant odor in our separate rooms. The staff were far more interested in their own appearance than helping with any problems... more

For the entire month of June, the riad was rented exclusively to a repeat guest and his family. It is therefore impossible that the writer of this review ever stayed with us. RC Owner

My partner and I have just returned from the Riad Hayati. We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The attention to detail and personal service was fanatastic. This was helped by the hard work from all the wonderful staff. A special mention to the houseman Abdul whose gentle and warm nature made us feel truely at home. I would thoroughly recommend... more

We have been to Marrakech several times and stayed at several other riads. They simply do not measure up to Riad Hayati. The ambiance is calming, almost hypnotic. We found ourselves in q quiet courtyard garden with gurgling fountain and a family of twittering canaries. The decor is extremely tasteful, completely without flash or bling. The owner, Ron, and his... more

This was the most superb holiday my husband and I have ever had --- Magical, really. It started with being picked up at the airport, then walking through the Moroccan streets to a venue of utter calm -- a combination of sophisticated comfort and personal service. We went with several other friends and had dinner together beautifully cooked and served.... more
