We have just returned from a 3 night stay in DC. After reading the other reviews in trip advisor I would have to say I was disappointed. The front desk staff (except for one person) made me fell like I was bothering them when I asked a question (i.e. recommended places to eat, any tourist information etc.). They were very... more

Overall, a nice hotel appropriate for quick business in DC. Location is convenient to many embassies and associations. One word of warning: Beware of the elevator noise in Room 305 (and, I would imagine, rooms 405, 505, etc.). The noise in the room sounds like cars rolling over a metal bridge. more

The hotel was quiet and fairly clean, although the bathroom decor was rather spartan and reminded me of some hotel bathrooms I'd seen in China, and some bedroom slippers would have been nice. Service staff were polite and fairly helpful. The nearest Metro stations were about 2 to 3 blocks away, and the hotel was about 20 minutes walk from... more

Very convenient location near Dupont Circle with lots of restaurants nearby. Paid using points from previous stays at Marriott, so I am not sure about the cost. Staff were nice and the breakfast was good with lots of choices and value for the money. (It wasn't included with the room.) My only complaint was that the hotel restaurant was not... more

We arrived late (9:00), most of the rooms were taken. We were offered a small room with a view or a larger room with a view of the building next door. We took the view. We were told that if we were not happy, that they would change it in the morning. The front desk person was kind and helpful.... more

We recently stayed at this hotel. In the past few years while visiting DC I have stayed in three different hotels, one being the St Gregory Hotel, and I think the Courtyard on Embassy Row was a wonderful hotel. The location is great, just blocks from Dupont and the Metro. From this location we walked to the White House and... more

Based on other reviews I read on my tripadvisor I was not 100% sure if I made a good choice. However, once we chacked in and got a feel for the DC area I realized we ended up in a great location for a great price! The hotel itself is clean and well-appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool... more

4 of us travelled to Washington DC in late July 2007. While searchng for a hotel to stay out we found out that hotels in DC are very expensive and fill up pretty fast so you have to reserve a hotel well in advance. To be honest, the Mariott Courtyard Washington Embassy Row hotel was the only hotel that had... more

Like other Courtyard's I've stayed at, there is never anything that really makes me want to say "this was a great stay". It was definitely a good stay though. I was here on business. Check-in was fast, the room was clean, the property was clean. Here are a couple things that did stand out: - WEIRD, kind of creepy pool... more

Very nice hotel clean up-to-date rooms a bit on the pricey side but no complaints here. Internet access was a bit in and out so be prepared. more
