Hotel is nice and clean, but rooms were very small and basic. Breakfast was included and very good for a small hotel. We left our luggage in the hotel on day of departure, and were able to walk in and out adding things to our luggage without anyone even looking up to question if it was ours!! Not at all... more
We had read reveiws on many hotels in Amsterdam and had read some negative comments and postive comments . I can honestley say we have both never been looked after so well espacally Velislava the receptionist, she gave us the most fab room overlooking the canal and was so helpfull. breakfast is basic but very nice although it gets very busy... more
We were very surprised by the quality of the room. Last time I stayed in Amsterdam for similar price, so I expected similarly reasonable, but not great, hotel. Here, the room was much bigger, much cleaner and better furnished. We were also lucky, we got the room with canal view (without even asking) on the to floor. The breakfast were... more
It is a shame when the owners just renovated a classic canal house that they only tried to figure out how to get the most amount of people into the smallest possible space. We paid a premium for a canal room -- it was teeny and uncomfortable. The coarsest bed linens, not a Kleenex or any other amenity, hardly any... more
The Mozart's location is great and its staff very competent. Breakfast was indeed, as another reviewer said, sometimes crowded, but it was entirely adequate. The only problem was that the room was HOT -- 85-90 F even in the middle of the night! We got an electric fan from the hotel desk, but it did little good. We simply could... more
My boyfriend and I booked a room at the Mozart Hotel, where we stayed for two nights, as we read enthusiastic reviews about it. Well, it was a great disappointment! First of all, we were given a extremely small room (9 sq. meters!!!),where a twin bed (not a dobule, as requested), a chair and a small closet were placed. The... more
Me and my 2 friends stayed in Mozart hotel in July 2006. The hotel is in a nice area, 10 minutes walk from flower market and 5 minutes from one very busy square with a lot of restaurants. We got a room with double bed (2 singles put together) and one extra bed. Room was nice and clean. Everything run... more
My husband and I travel for many, many Years. By accident we ended up at the Mozart hotel, after being send away at hotel PC. Sending us away, was the best thing that happend to us in Amsterdam. After the very warm welcome of the reception, we ended up in a very nice room. We had all the Equipments we... more
My fiancé and her three friends booked this hotel for my fiancé’s Hen Night. (Booked well over a month in advance!) They arrived at around 10pm, to be told that they had the booking, but no spare rooms. With no apology, and very little offer of assistance. Generally rude attitudes by the staff of the hotel. Not much you can... more
