My Girlfriend & I stayed here back in Nov 06. We found the Hotel very comfortable, clean, tidy and in a quiet street. It is located approx 20 minute walk south of Leidseplein, but if you don't feel like walking then there is a tram stop nearby. Hotel is in great peacefull part of Amsterdam, just few station from Leidsplein squere. Rooms are good, and clean. I would recomend it for everyone who are on some business trip or for people who are on romantic getaway more

Room quite small, bathroom too. The buffet breakfast is expensive - costs 17 Euro! Front desk helpful, made a reservation for a small Italian restaurant within a walking distance. For this price it s easy to book much better hotel. more

Staff on arrival were very friendly and spoke excellent english. Our room was very bright, clean and well furnished. I loved this hotel! Since I was by myself I had a single room with a twin but was happy that it was a very big full-size bed. The comforter was big and fluffly and so were the pillows. The room was very small (room 652). 'Bathroom' was bad; no privacy at all (glass wall) and smelled very bad during the night. Couldn't turn off the airco, very chilly while sleeping. No breakfast included. Yes, it was modern (flatscreen tv)...but it was disappointing to me. I'm glad we only stayed for 1 night. Wouldn't recommend this at all! more
