This is a fine budget hotel and breakfast was good, staff very friendly. But ask for a room in the back and not facing the street... it may be smaller but MUCH quieter. The hotel is convenient to the train station but the street can be a bit noisy with some rowdies yelling at night, street cleaners, etc. more

Hotel Groenendael is a great place to stay in Amsterdam if you're on a budget and prefer to spend your money on things other than hotels.
