An ideal location for a stay in Amsterdam- centrally located yet on a quiet side street. I have stayed here a few times but now feel the hotel is starting to look slightly dated, For example, the TV was old and other hotels have more up to date in room entertainment with regard to internet access and on demand films.... more

I have just returned from a long weekend in Amsterdam where I was obliged to stay at two hotels. The first, this one, the SAS Radisson I booked myself and stayed for two nights (Nov 7th and 8th) and the second, booked by others for me you will find a review of here on my profile. There is not enough... more

The location is excellent, with many spots a walking distance including the main railway station, good bars and of course, the Red Light district. The hotel looks old from the outside, but on the inside it's very modern with interesting architecture. Extremely pricey though, with 400 euros per night not even including breakfast. The latter was excellent though, with a... more

Very good location downtown. From there you can easily reach by puublic transport the RAI Congress and Exhibition Center without having to stay in the suburbs. Upon check-in, you are offered an upgrade to a business-class room for a light surcharge. Rooms are large, well-equipped with free boardband access, a Nespresso coffee machine, etc. etc. Nice breakfast buffet ( included... more

This hotel is right in the center of the city. We could walk everywhere. it is 5 minutes to Dam Square, ten minutes to the Rembrandtplein, and maybe 15 minutes- walking briskly to the Leidensplein. The breakfast buffet was great- everything from eggs to order, yogurt, fresh fruit, cereals, hardboiled eggs, cheese and meats, but pretty expensive at 25E per person.... more

We had an eight day stay. No thing too much for them. Ask and it will be done. Used the restaurant three times, and the bar every night. Both excellent and would suggest you take advice from the bar staff where to go for entertainment and to eat. Rooms are very comfortable. There are cheaper places but if you want... more

Just landed back in the office in London after checking out of our room at 04:30 this Monday morning. Same lovely night shift chap was on the desk as had been when we checked in late Friday night. The rooms were comfortable and we nearly got lost in the bed, as previously commented the rooms are unique with their steps... more

Just checked out of the Radisson SAS Amsterdam and this was my 5th time staying there. The room iwas adequate enough, we had 2 beds, the hotel is now 100% smoke free which I didn't like. I had an opening window and me and many others just smoked out the window. Beds comfortable and the beds have just comforters on... more

We are just back from a weekend in this property, we normally stay in the Amrath Palace, but we decided on a change. The location is excellent 15mins walk from Central station, do not take a cab, as you will be told that there is a one way system & get charged 25 Euros! 5 mins Rembrandt, 5 mins red... more

Stayed here for just one night on a short weekend stay. Hotel is modern and clean, with the added benefit of being in a good location. It's around 10 minutes walk from the Train Station and within 5 minutes of any local place of interest. You are central without being in 'thick of it'. Would recommend it to anyone. Amsterdam... more
