Stayed for 2 nights prior to a cruise, and were extremely happy with oor hotel choice. We used our Marriott points for the 2 night stay and were very pleased with our accomodations. Spacious, bright rooms, recently renovated with large, well -lit marble bathrooms. Large flat screen Tv's with many English channels highlighted the rooms many amenities. Irons and ironing... more

Good hotel, located near a lively square and casino. Excellent check-in - let me check into my room at 7:30 am after a long flight without even asking for it. Clean, newly renovated, safe area. Good choice for a hotel and good price on Priceline. Only downside was that certain rooms face a busy street. more

Beautiful very large room. Excellent location near Landesplaat, Culp Market. Room had wind blowing through closed windows. Hotel manager responded to problem ASAP, engineering did temp fix, and we got the lovely breakfast buffet free as compensation. Would recommend to anyone. more

My husband and I stayed at the Amsterdam Marriott for 1 night during a stopover en route home from Italy. This was our first visit to Amsterdam. The hotel was a good home base, even though we were only there for a brief stay. We had dinner and then walked over to see the Red Light district - about a... more

We just returned from a two-week European vacation which included stays at other Marriott properties in Athens and Brussels. Our three-night stay in Amsterdam was during the first week of August, 2008 The Amsterdam Marriott has an excellent location. As others have said, it is steps away from the tram stop at Leidseplein, one of the central areas of Amsterdam.... more

If you want an American style hotel then stay here. It was a great room and great location. It's on the opposite side of the city then the train station and Red light district but my friends and I found that this was better. It was right across from this huge square with outdoor cafes that was perfect to sit... more

To be honest, we only booked the Marriott because of a special deal on Expedia but were really pleased. We usually stay at Hilton hotels due to my loyalty card status but the Marriott was less than half the price of the Hilton - my loyalty has limits!! Whilst not right in the centre of Amsterdam, it is a sensible... more

I've stayed two nights in a Senior Suite for € 365.00 per night including taxes, excluding breakfast. The suite is located on the 9th floor and offers a great view over Amsterdam. The suite is decorated very well, a large diningtable, two large sofa's and several chairs. The bedroom is located in a seperate room. The bathroom is very small... more

The Marriott was really easy to find, central and very close to transport like the tram and bicycle hire place. The service was great, and the room was fabulous. The bed was the best, huge and soft like a marshmellow. If you are planning on a good meal out I would definetly suggest the Quoy restuarant at the Marriot, fabulous... more

Stay in the executive floor, flawless room, breakfast on time, check in and check out were literally 2 minutes... and the car I had book on the previous night was waiting and redy to go when I got to... more
