The hotel is certainly different. I've never stayed in a hotel that had a McDonald's in it. This is certainly just the type of motel/hotel you jump off the expressway to stay in. We decided to start our Bernina Tour from Chur. So we booked the Ibis Pyramid in Chur. The hotel is a unique pyramid hotel (not as large as the Luxor in Las Vegas). It was constructed in 1994. The hotel is a huge pyramid with a McDonalds on the first floor. A great spot for kids or if you are tired of paying $100 a night to eat in Switzerland. The rooms are typical for the Ibis chain. Small but clean and ok. Nothing special. But the rooms were hot with no AC and that made for a... more

This Ibis hotel is up to their usual standards. Pleasant rooms with a decent view if you're out the back (NB the official photos are of the side of the hotel, not the side that faces the main road).
