Alpine Lodge name is a bit misleading for this concrete building. It's a fairly old place which has had a minor face lift. Not up to todays standards. This place needs a total renovation for it's rooms. Restaurant and gym/pool area are OK. Pool was cold and quite small. Rooms are small and the bathrooms even smaller. No shelf for... more

The staff of the Alpine Lodge was very friendly and efficient. We had a very nice mid-day meal in their restaurant and an excellent buffet breakfast. The rooms are small, but clean, and have a modern decor which is somewhat out of character for the area. As advertised, there is an iMac in each room, although it would be hard... more

My husband and I stayed there over Christmas and loved every minute of it. The gym (big by European standards), indoor/outdoor pool (brand new & toasty warm), i-Macs and high speed internet access in every room (free) and delicious breakfasts makes it one of our favorite places to stay in Switzerland.
