Giglio Bianco is the most quaint, comfortable and welcoming place to stay in Florence. Immediately upon arriving Eduardo brought us coffee to help our jet lag, and Varinia was telling us about her trip to the market to make us dinner. We felt like we just found our Italian family! We planned to stay 2 nights, but loved the location,... more

My wife and I ate here end of November of 2008 on recommendations from Trip Advisor while looking for B&Bs to stay at in Florence. They were booked up but we decided to make a reservation. This is very quaint, no more than 6 people or so capacity but the personal service is incredible. Eduardo and his wife Varina are... more

My husband, mother-in-law and I recently stayed at Giglio Bianco. Because there are only two rooms, it meant we had the whole place to ourselves. Both rooms were spacious with nice bathrooms. The shared sitting room was a great place to relax after siteseeing or check email/make plans online for the next day. I would say the only drawback was... more

We were really happy with the B&B. Varinia and Edoardo were great hosts, whose priority was to make the guests happy. This B&B has only 2 rooms, so there is no commercial feel to it. We stayed in the red room. The room was nice and quiet. Bathroom was clean and very spacious. Location is away from the city center,... more

Although this B and B was booked whenever we made our reservations in Florence, Varini offered to cook dinner for us. My husband and I were served one of the most interesting and delicious meals while in Italy. It was just the two of us so it was also a romantic evening with a candle lit dinner and soft music.... more

My wife and I stayed at this wonderful bed and breakfast for 3 nights. It is perfectly located, accross from the Boboli Gardens with an entrance just 30 meters (90ft) away; a good back entrance to the Piti Palace, without the lines. The B& B is is just 5 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and, as others have written, a... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here for three nights in October, and we loved it. The apartment is in a good location, within easy walking distance of the Ponte Vecchio and some good local bars and restaurants. Edoardo and Varinia are friendly and attentive hosts (not too attentive though - you don't feel suffocated or awkward!). Varinia is an amazing... more

Giglio Bianco´s apartment in Florence is great, the location- oh! Me and my sister stayed at Giglio Bianco´s apartment in Via de Bardi (near Piazzale Michelangelo) 5 days in November 2008. We both wish to return there soon, not to any other place or area in Florence! It was such a luck that we found this big, quiet, homy, clean... more

Wow! We had such a great stay with Varina and Eduardo! The room was plush and spacious, and the breakfast room felt like home! They really go out of their way to make you comfortable with free internet, homemade breakfast, great restaurant reccomendations, and a lovely room & bathroom. We went back and forth about whether to have Varina cook... more

This was a truly amazing experience. Florence is an absolutely beautiful city but due to the number of tourists in the city, eating out can be a bit hit and miss. However, Varennia's cooking is nothing short of spectacular, that, combined with Eduardo's choice picks of local wines makes us feel so lucky to have stayed with them. Each meal... more
