The hotel was nice, has a lift and breakfast was included which was average. The room was small but average for the area. They also had a small espresso bar (help yourself) in a waiting room on the first floor. The hotel is just feet away from the Ponte Vecchio bridge and right on the shopping strip. Close walk to most... more

I've researched and found this gem from trip advisor. What attracts me was that it is 7m away from the Ponte Vecchio. It makes exploring the area very easy to almost every part. The best part of the hotel is its actually accessible from the train station. Take Bus D and you get the bus actually in front of the... more

Great location, quiet enough (except the recycling at 6 am which was vigorous!) but ABSOLUTELY FILTHY room. Had to wear flip flops!! more

We booked this hotel at the last minute as we nearly opted for one just outside the Just outside the city centre, we were so glad we didn’t. The welcome we received was charming and our poor Italian wasn’t a problem – something that can be said for most of the tourist filled city. The room, while not huge was... more

Spent 2 nights at this fantastic hotel in June for my mums 60th, the hotel is 5minutes away from the main train station in a taxi or a 15 min walk. The hotel is in a excellent location at the end of the Ponte Vecchio brigde right in the center of Florence. The staff at the hotel are very helpful... more

We stayed at the Vivahotel Pitti Palace Hotel, Florence for a long weekend in April 2008. We got a very good deal with Expedia which included flights. It was a great choice as the location was just off the Ponte Vecchio, just perfect for sightseeing – very central. Check-in was really good. The staff were very polite, friendly and helpful.... more

Great value. The hotel is "modern " inside and so feels a bit like a "chain hotel" BUT it is so perfectly situated to see Florence...you could not get better. It is clean and comfortable and the staff, during our stay, were extremely helpful, from where the tour bus starts to where is there a good restaurant , to organising... more

We (my husband and myself) stayed at Piti Palace during Easter season 2008. Location is fantastic, just a short stroll to the Ufizi Gallery and up to Duomo, right, at one end of Ponte Veccio. The room was ok in size, with a v ery big bed, and everything was very clean, tidy, well decorated and in working order. The... more
