This is a great hotel. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were really nice with very high ceilings, great antiques, and very interesting furniture throughout the hotel. We plan to stay here every time we are in Florence. The breakfast was very good and we met other very nice guests in the hotel. more

We stayed here for five nights. The location is terrific--close to the river and very easy to walk to all of the necessary attractions. If you are on a budget, this is the place. you won't get bit by any bedbugs, the rooms are clean and ours had a updated Italian Marble bathroom. Overall the hotel was nice and the staff quite friendly. However, definately look at the room before you take it. Ours seemed nice until we went to bed and found a giant creepy crawly. To be fair, from the large layer of dust in the room it seemed like the room had not been used in a really long time.... more

Beautiful rooms, very clean and the breakfast is delicious. My only complaint is watch out for the man who does the night shift. He is so rude and so disgusting. The day staff more than make up for him though. more
