We have just returned from a city break in Florence when we stayed at the Relais del Duomo Hotel. It is right next to the Duomo Cathedral which makes it very easy to find when you want to return to your room after a long day seeing the sites of Florence. Everything about the Hotel was just what we hoped... more

This hotel is in a great location. Clean simple. Helpful staff, Guiseppe (the owner) was helpful that he carried out cases upstairs, as the elevator/lift was broken (it actually looked like it has never worked in years) He was also able to guide us around florence and recommend and book great resturants.Only thing was my italian is none existant and... more

I stayed here on my honeymoon 2 weeks ago and loved every minute. We arrived from Salzburg by train and walked to the B&B with our backpacks. It only takes about 5 minutes. We were greeted by Fiorna who was extremely helpful with everything we asked of her. We had organised a cooking course in Tuscany and she went to... more

We were hesitant about this hotel because of comments regarding the pub but thought the location was wonderful and the rooms looked so nice on the Internet. Review rankings were high, so we thought it would be great especially for 120 euros per night including breakfast. Boy, were we wrong. The first disappointment was the entryway. There is a single... more

The first thing you will notice is the stunning location of this place. It's around the corner from the Cathedral but in a quiet side street with no through traffic. We were also worried by the fact that there was an Irish bar beneath it, but although there were drinkers sitting outside at night, the rooms are noise proofed and... more

My wife and i stayed here for 3 nights at the end of February. On arrival we were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful member of staff whom checked us in and handed me a street map. The bedrooms were spacious and clean like many of the italian pensions we have stayed in. The location is fantastic, a stones... more

the location is just phenomenal and the rooms are lovely and clean. dont expect too much hospitality - its sort of like renting a room - but that was all fine by me! and again, the location is just ridiculous for the price! more

We stayed for 3 nights in mid-October during a stretch of horrible rain. The B&B was phenomenally very centrally located - one block from the Duomo! We called Magni when our train arrived in Florence and a women (I think Fiorna?) met us at the B&B with no delay. The B&B is technically on what American's would consider the second... more

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday to Italy and stayed 4 nights at the Relais Del Duomo. I thought it was a lovely bed and breakfast and the location was amazing. It is above a little irish pub but when were there this was never busy and also our room had 2 sets of windows to close... more

We checked in to the bed & breakfast 2 hours earlier than I had e-mailed the manager. This meant that we arrived in front of a closed door, and the manager of a nearby restaurant was friendly enough to call the manager to let him know some guests were waiting. After a delicious lunch at the nearby restaurant (Osteria nextdoor),... more
