We got to Florence and had time to walk around and check out rooms. This hotel was slightly out of the way of the main area, but only by a few minutes walk at most. The room itself was very nicely decorated, way above the 2 star standards, and run by a couple of nice guys. I want to rate... more

Hotel San Lorenzo was a great place to stay for the price. It is located right in the Mercato Centrale in Florence. The location is ideal and very close to the train station. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. more

This is a traditional hotel, no frills, run by a father, wife and son. We have stayed their 3 times, they are very special people. My son (5 at the time) became very ill, took him to the hospital. Roberto, (the owner) took my wife, daughter and sister in law around to the hospitals until they found me and my... more
