We were a group of eight who stayed two nights at B&B Cimatori this past October, and it was really a great stay. We took two quadruple rooms, at first I thought that we were going to be crowded and miserable, but the room accommodated quite effectively. The rooms were next to each other at the end of the hall,... more

I came back from 5 days in Florence just last week, my mother and myself stayed at the Cimatori whilst visiting family we have living in Florence. The Cimatori is excellent, Dominenco and Valeria (The owners) are very friendly people and are very hospitiable. They are full of restaurant recommendations and local knowledge. The rooms and communal breakfast area are... more

Of all the places we stayed in Italy this was our favorite. The B&B itself was quiet which allowed for good sleeping at night (we were tired), AC worked well, very clean, convenient location and it was nice to have Internet access and to keep drinks in the refrigerator. Our hosts really made the difference in our stay. They were... more

Absolutely perfect location. Florence is very small and this hotel is right smack in the middle of everything. 2 minutes to the Duomo and 10 minutes walk to all further places of interest in the city. Even thou this was a B&B the breakfast was not too great but all right. Rooms itself was huge but the bathroom was tiny.... more

My husband and I stayed at Cimatori in October along with my mother and her boyfriend. Although the location was PERFECT ( 2 min from Uffizi and Duomo) my mother and her boyfriend (in their 50s) HATED the stairs. It is on the fourth floor which can be a hike if you aren't prepared. For my husband and I though... more

During our visit to Florence in September 2007, it was our pleasure to stay at the Cimatori B&B . The B&B was recommended to us by friends who had previously stayed at the Cimatori. It is a perfect place to stay - ideally located in the heart of Florence, a short walk to many of the city's wonderful attractions including... more

This B&B is perfectly located, absolutely true. However, neither I nor my wife felt it lived up to the excellent reviews listed here – a major reason for our choice. The room we stayed in was just behind the entrance door and it was a bit shabby. The bathroom was shockingly small – the toilet nearly impossible to sit on... more

Wonderful location in the center of Florence- an easy walk anywhere. Staff was great- very welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely room. There was a nice breakfast of cereal, rolls, jam, juice, milk, coffee, cappuccino, biscuits, etc. It was lovely to eat breakfast with other friendly travellers from all over. We very much enjoyed our visit and would certainly... more

This was a great B&B in a great location. Couple of blocks away from the Uffizi, the Duomo, the Ponte Vecchio. Couldn't have found a better location. Dominico could not have been more welcoming or helpful. He has clearly reached his goal of making his B&B guests feel at home. The room was huge! There was a public area with... more

It's over a month since we've been there, but my wife and I still reminisce with great fondness for this B & B in the heart of Florence. It's located on Via Dante Aligheri, so close to the Duomo and the Baptistery, the wonderful Museo dell' Opera, and the throngs of people. But when you enter this respite, you'll feel... more
