I stayed at the hotel for 3 days in july. We arrived late as we missed are flight (thanks to london underground!). The staff were still awake and very helpful they spoke very good english for anyone who struggles with italian! Just got back from a 3 night stay at the San Gallo Palace. What a great hotel in a beautiful city! We arrived by train from Venice and took 2 cabs to the hotel(5 people and way too much luggage). A cab is a must if you have luggage. You can walk it but would not be fun with luggage.... more
