Starlight is a gem.Rooms were clean and had a sink in the room.Room was really big for typical italian rooms.Quiet space all day and night. Locanda is not that far from the train station and easy to find. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy but that is usually the case when you are near the train station and Florence itself is a very dirty and crowded place. The hostel for the most part is nice. We stayed on the first floor and still felt safe.... more

The location can't be beat, a few minutes walk from the train station, the outdoor shopping market is just down the street, and the duomo within easy walking distance. All i can say that Regina the owner is the most loveliest down to earth person i have ever met, she was very welcoming, and had a lot of trust in everyone that stayed in her place. The rooms are beautifullly painted with murals that Regina has done, free internet and very central. Would definately stay there again. Ciao more
