“Quiet, nice family-run hotel”

We really enjoyed staying at this small, family-run hotel. They were very helpful with directions and dining recommendations. The nearby piazza was loud at night, but our room had two sets of windows which completely eliminated the noise! We would book this hotel again and would look forward to seeing the family. more

This family run hotel is an excellent centre for seeing Florence. Right next to the Medici Chapel and in the famous San Lorenzo market it is brilliantly situated to walk the whole of the major sights of Florence without being too expensive. All the staff were very friendlyand helpful. The continental breakfast was more than adequate to start the day.... more

We stayed at the Hotel Lorena in Florence during the month of May, 2005. I must say that the hotel exceeded my expectations. This is a family run hotel and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
