This serenity is a small miracle given the extremely central location of the B&B. You could not ask for a better location nestled in between the Duomo and the Uffizi - you really are central to all the attractions that the beautiful city of Florence has to offer. Upon arrival either Danny, Peter or Suzanne will greet you and immediately make you feel at home. They are full of great advice; I can honestly say that with their help I have never had a bad meal in Florence!!! The rooms are always clean and comfortable and they offer a great little breakfast perfect to set you up for a morning of sightseeing and shopping. more » « less

My husband, sister and I just returned from a tremendous “trip of a lifetime” to Italy. One of the things that made the trip so special was enjoying the Dei Mori and its delightful ambiance! Its location on a little side street in the heart of Florence is a true A-plus since it is within walking distance of most major... more

Dei Mori B&B in Florence was terrific! The location is perfect, centrally located on a quiet street. The rooms are lovely with charming decor and modern bathrooms. The entire place is warm and welcoming and spotlessly clean. Suzanne made us feel welcome and gave us a very helpful orientation to the city. Her restaurant recommendations were right on. You can... more

My husband and I stayed at this B and B and was pleased overall. If you want a room that is great for location and only to sleep in then this is your place. Suzanne was very nice and helpful in explaining how to get to places around the city. On the down side we were disapointed that there wasn't... more

My husband and I stayed here in September 2008 and were impressed with the B&B on many different levels. While making reservations, I had the pleasure of communicating with Suzanne, who informed me that Dei Mori was booked for the time that we wanted to stay. However, rooms were available in the Badia House just downstairs. Upon booking a room... more

We stayed with Peter and Danni both at La Massa and then in Florence. La Massa can only be described as a haven of tranquility. Having breakfast overlooking the lush green valley starts the mood for the day. Peter and Danni often joined us and gave invaluable advice on the best way to enjoy the area and the best places... more

What a wonderful break we had at Dei Mori. We were so fortunate to find such a gem in the centre of Florence. Suzanne was very welcoming and so helpful and Danny made reservations for us in some fab restaurants. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean, it was also very in keeping with the city we were in, When... more

My mother and I stayed in this B&B during our all too brief stay in Florence. We were very impressed with how accommodating Peter was and felt that his helpful suggestions made the little time that we had there so much more fulfilling. He recommended and made us a dinner reservation for our first night there and we liked the... more

My local travel agent made my reservation at the Dei Mori and I canceled with them 4 months before arrival. My travel agent returned my money but failed to notify the Dei Mori of the cancellation. Instead of going after the travel agency they have contracts with they went after me because the travel agent did not want to admit... more

Based on numerous wonderful reviews naturally my expectations were high. The welcome upon arrival was informative. Suzanne is an asset. We stayed in a Superior Queen room, #1. Next to the reception area adjacent to the small terrace, and we could only describe it as awkward. Not like the pictures at all. The hand basin was inside the bedroom not... more
