We just got back from 10 days in Italy. Loved this Florence hotel. It was immaculate and charming. The room was much bigger than anticipated and the beds were comfy cozy. Have just come back from a four-day break at the Aprile in Florence and couldn't have been happier with it. It was spotlessly clean, the staff were great and it was a fab location, not too near the rowdy bits. Just back from a magical 3 nights in Florence with my three sisters. As in some previous reviews we were initially disappointed with the quadruple room we were given. It was actually two separate rooms, one was a wonderful large twin room but the other was quite small and gloomy with only a sofa bed and a narrow uncomfortable single.... more

On the whole, the hotel is okay but we did experience some difficulty, and although situated conveniently for the station and most of the sights, the hotel is not situtated in the most attractive part of Florence. Having booked through a travel agent who enquired at time of booking, and a few days before our holiday we were guaranteed 3 separate single beds. Stayed in this small hotel in july. The room is small,though clean and quite nice nice to the other florence hotels we have seen. The location is great to all things to see and do in florence. The one outstanding feature of this hotel, was the bathroom, it was brand new, great shower, bath etc. The upside to the hotel... more

I had the pleasure of staying for ten days at the Hotel Aprile for the second time and it did not disappoint. The charming room overlooked the church and the hills. The location is excellent, the breakfast delicious but the true heart of the hotel is the staff. Always obliging and friendly which is important when traveling on your own.... more
