Enjoyable 3 night stay in September 2008, The Alessandra had everything we needed. Quiet/central location and within walking distance of everything which makes arrival and departure easy (you can even leave your luggage after you have checked out at no charge). At first we were a bit confused as to walk up to the small elevator. There was a light out and the stairway was dim. We left our bags downstairs and not knowing how to operate and obtain the elevator . We walked all the way up and found the hotel desk. The staff here is very friendly and helpful.... more

The hotel is ideally placed within walking distance of the Uffizi Museum, Ponte Vecchio and the shopping area. Andrea pre booked our Museum tickets in advance and was always on hand to assist us, with restaurant recommendations and directions. Nothing was ever too much trouble. more

My husband and I spent one night here on November 24. The hotel is located on a narrow, quiet street in a nice part of town, about a block from the river. The room we had was HUGE!
