Convenient arrangement in several minutes of walking from station. An ancient building in a garden, surrounded with a wall (iIn a garden it is possible to have breakfast). Three floor, is not present the lift. Rooms big enough, with high ceilings; some rooms have a balcony. The furniture partially old, partially new, is stylised under rococo. From lacks - in... more

I stayed in a double room for 4 days, overall it was a very positive experience. Highlights: - Walking distance from the train station - Competitive prices - Attractive rooms (small foyer, good sized bathroom with shower and bathtub) - Generous breakfast - Cute little garden Possible negatives: - Construction on via Fratelli Roselli. The walls do a good job... more

We had a great stay at the Albergo Villa Azalee in April. The location was great. We were traveling by train and we able to easily walk to the hotel pulling our luggage behind us! It is close (ten minute walk) to the old part of the city and main attractions, but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night. This hotel was really hard to find, but once you find it and familiarize yourself with the surroundings, it is approximately a 10-minute walk from the train station. The hotel staff was friendly, and the rooms were big and clean. A/C is also included. Overall, I had a good stay here. more

The Hotel Villa Azalle turned out to be quite a nice place. Our Room (#37) on the top floor may be a little difficult for guests who have trouble with stairs, but our room was worth the climb. The room was very clean and very nicely decorated. The bathroom was very large and appeared to have been recently renovated with... more

Ok, so my friend who I was staying with thought this hotel was haunted which is a possibility but not a certainty and therefore I can't endorse such an allegation. The old world atmospheere might give the impression of a spooky old house. The rooms were very cheap an my one was huge for the price but somewhat worn looking.... more

We stayed just one night at the Villa Azalee as a stop off on the way to Rome. At a very reasonable €70 we weren't expecting a huge amount from it other than a place to sleep and being convenient for the train station. The hotel was difficult to find by car as the tram system is still being built... more

We stayed at Villa Azalee for 4 nights while on a break in Florence and it was so much more than we expected. If you need a place to lie your head that is comfortable and has a homely feel without paying over the odds then this is the place for you. The room was spacious and light with a... more

The hotel itself is beautiful - antiques, huge rooms, (room 24 had a gorgeous fresco ceiling). sleeping at night was fabulous - the room is sound and lightproof. bathroom was very large - largest shower we had on the trip. The balcony was gorgeous and tranquil. The only downside is the location. it doesnt seem to be in the greatest... more

The Villa Azalee is a step into the past - very elegant with large rooms and bath's. I would recommend it to anyone unless you need an elevator. It is an older building that has been kept up and gives you a feel as to what it was like to live in Florence many years ago. The service was excellant... more
