My wife and I recently stayed at this hotel in Florence. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Academia (David) and another 10 minutes to the Duomo area. The location is quite nice with one street to walk down to get to the main historical area. There are nice restaurants and bars/cafe and even a laundry right outside of... more

On reading the reviews we were unsure what to expect, but our fears were unfounded. We walked from the railway station took about 20 mins, but note the road Via Nationale starts as another name. The hotel is down a side street you dont see it till your on top of it. The reception was very good and we were given a room... more

I have to say that having never been to Europe before, this was a great place to stay when starting a European Adventure as a chaperon. As a chaperon on this trip, My son and I shared a double room like many of the other students. I, we, found the quality of the accommodations, food, and service to be more... more

My room was spacious, spotless and had a spectacular view. Staying there made my trip to Florence all the more better. It has a perfect location and will definitely be my choice of stay when I return to Florence. more

I've stayed at the Ricasoli twice over 2006 and 2007 and both times it was exceptional. The location is within easy walking distance to the most sought after areas of Florence, but is far enough away to avoid the bustling crowds outside your window. The rooms are immaculately clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff (especially reception) is always... more

I found this hotel to be of an exceptional value and excellence. I have stayed here with close friends and groups, both of whom were always treated to a magnificent stay. The rooms are incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, and the breakfasts are perfect for our American palates. The best part of the hotel: the staff and their willingness to... more

Every year we take a group from the United States on a trip through Europe. For the last four years we have stayed at Ricasoli. We have really appreciated the cleanliness, staff, and location. We would highly recommend Ricasoli-Firenze to any of our clients. Sincerely, Steve Schapansky [--] more

We stayed here as part of our Trafalgar tour. We were in building 1, on the 2nd floor. We had a large clean room with a kitchenette. It felt almost like a dorm room with tile floors and bare minimum decoration. The shower is not for someone who likes small spaces. The breakfast that came with the room was one... more

With its little kitchen and sitting area, this was more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. Located in a charming area north of the Duomo, it was easy to get everywhere, though several minutes farther away from the center of things. A 10-minute walk from the train made it easy to get to from Rome. Lovely and huge... more

This was my favorite hotel out of all the hotels we stayed at in our Italy trip. The room was spacious with large bathroom in the entry hallway, a living room area with television, small kitchenette, and a bedroom area that included the bed , 2 nightstands and the closet. (The room came with complimentary slippers.) This was by far... more
