This Florence hotel was very nice. We stayed in #5 on the ground floor facing Via G.B. Amici. The terrace was beautiful. The hotel in general was clean and quiet and well maintained. The staff was nice even though Sabina (apparently) was not feeling well. Breakfast was quite good - much more than what you normally would get at a... more

My husband and I thought the Ungherese was nice enough but were not nearly as impressed as the other reviewers apprarently were. We found the woman who runs the place to be rather cranky during our two-day stay. Her husband was very sweet and friendly but obviously hen-pecked; his wife was scolding him from another room at the top of... more

My wife and I just stayed at Hoel Ungherese for two days. The room was clean and very comfortable. Sabina and her husband were so helpful, we would have made some mistakes without her advise and guidance. This was from where to eat after arriving late, the correct bus to take, how to get to Tuscany and what to see.... more

If you need a hotel that is economic, very clean, quiet (away from the city centre) and with great transportation means close by, you mustn't go anywhere else! The room (No7) was nice but the bathroom was not very spacious. The breakfast was ok and the terrace was wonderful. Parking is availiable in front of the hotel and you won't... more

We just returned from a tour of 6 European countries, in many cities, and we were very impressed with the level of service at Hotel Ungherese. The rooms are serviceable (not fancy - but also not expensive), and spotlessly clean. Sabina was always available for help, and provided us with all the information we needed to safely navigate our way... more

First off, if you are looking for a hotel that is close to all of the attractions, this is not it. But that is what makes it so great. The Ungherese is a ways away from the Duomo and all of that, but that makes it quiet and very pleasant. You will need to take a bus into the city... more

We stayed here for two nights at the start of July in a room with a double and 2 single beds. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with a/c and a nicely decorated en suite shower room. The location was great - we were able to park right outside and leave the car for 2 days. The bus... more

The hotel was an amazing stay for my wife and I. We stayed here with a team of college students for 3 nights. Then my wife and I stayed at the hotel for 2 more nights. The hotel has a great patio and garden where one can relax under an umbrella and garden chairs. It was very quiet and peaceful... more

In June we travelled across Europe staying in hotels chosen entirely because of their Tripadvisor reviews. All of them, including the Ungherese, lived up to their billing. This little hotel, away from the hectic city-center, was exactly what we wanted: A quiet, charming, authentically Italian retreat. When speaking to the owner Sabina at the time of booking, she was very... more
