Hotels are awarded stars by their facilities. The Atlantic Palce does not have a Restaurant (Just a breakfast Room) It doesn't have a Bar (Just a little counter in a dark corner which is never manned). We stayed here three nights (too many) in a room at the end of a tiny hall way that felt like a fire hazard. My wife and I are currently at an internet cafe right by the Atlantic Palace Hotel. All we can say is that the hotel has truly ruined our experience in Florence. The location is excellent, but this dump should be torn down and rebuilt. Maybe theyll get it right next time. more
