I have been sending people to Hotel Arizona for the past 2 years. The reason I send them there is because of the warmth, and kindness of the staff that work there. Yes the rooms are small compared to American hotels but compared to European hotels they are standard. You sleep there not live there. It is close to food... more

Hotel was clean, (relatively) inexpensive, but rooms were small and in need of a refresh. Hotel is located next to the old synagogue, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the Duomo...not too bad. We chose to stay here for the price, and because other friends had already reserved. If you can find somewhere in closer in town for... more

The room was clean, breakfast was okay, and the location was fine, but the big big problem was the noise. Maybe we were very unlucky, but neither my husband nor I slept due to either the road noise or the drunk and noisy teenagers above and next door. You could hear everything they said and the constant slamming of doors... more

My husband and I booked the hotel through Expedia based on price and location. We were pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. Our room was fine (European rooms, as you know, are small by American standards). The hotel was very clean and had an old world atmosphere. The staff (it is family owned and run) was very nice and... more

We were pleasantly surprised by our nice room in this hotel. We picked it based on price, location, and Trip Advisor reviews, and it met our expectations completely. Plus our room was "pretty" according to my wife, with the painted ceiling and other decorations. This was another tricky shower (very hard to keep water off the floor), not as bad... more

I was NOT a fan of this hotel. Besides the fact it wasn't in my favorite location, the room was VERY small. Even smaller - the BATHROOM! The entire room may have been about 2-feet by 4-feet and the shower was TINY. My wife and I stayed there three nights and could not wait to move on to our next... more

Our double rooms are minimum 40 square feet because this is the minimum that the low in Italy accept for a double room. The bathrooms are minimum 10 square feet but can be also 16 square feet. All bathrooms have shower cubicle and quadruple rooms have also a bath.

We absolutely fell in love with the hotel and the owners. The rooms are small but well furnished and very comfortable by American standards. Great A/C and attractively furnished. Even the ceilings are painted, I felt the need to photograph one. The family that owns it is very friendly and have the cutest black poodle named Bilba that had just... more

I had read some really negative reviews but stayed anyway based on the price, photos, and location. Okay, upon arrival, I did'nt feel welcome, but got checked in. The room was small. I mean the bed and the wall had about one foot and that is obvious in the photos, but the location was good and the room was well... more

I had read reviews before I went and expected a good,if basic, hotel, but I found it the best hotel (of four) I have stayed in over the past 20 months ,in Florence. It is in very quiet surroundings on a pleasant street but is only a ten minute,or less, walk from the Duomo ,Santa Croce and the main tourist areas.... more

I just returned from Florence and I stayed at the Arizona Hotel. It's within walking distance of the sights and great restaurants that aren't tourist traps. The room was small but I didn't mind because I wasn't cramped and wasn't in my room most of the time anyway. Because the staff were friendly and helpful, the great location and clean... more
