The Hotel Laurus is in a great location, walked there from the train station in 5 minutes. Centrally located, quiet, large rooms, (the beds are on the firm side but comfortable) and VERY clean. Just returned from stay at the Hotel Laurus Florence. Rooms 702 and 703 have great views. Four family members were traveling together and we all spent time staring out the windows at the Cappelle Medicee. Rooms were large and clean. This was the most comfortable hotel that we stayed in Italy. Staff was not rude but they weren’t helpful either. Very good location. more

The hotel is definitely not anything fancy with only the most basic of amenities. Having said that, the location was great to everywhere we needed to go. Just returned from a 3 night city break with friends. We absolutely loved the position of the hotel - very central. Hotel spotlessly clean, and breakfast was wonderful on the terrace overlooking La Duoma every morning. Would definetely recommend. more

This hotel is perfect for a stay in Florence. We arrived by train and it is literally round the corner from the train station. And when you turn the corner you can see the Duomo from the hotels entrance. My boyfriend and I were amazed at how close the hotel was to everything you need! There are resturants all around... more
