Great location- 2 minute walk to the beautiful Duomo and in walking distance to all the major sites. Rooms were very modern and clean- you can tell they were recently renovated. Excellent location - right in the centre of Florence - a stone's throw from the main attractions. It was lovely having breakfast on the roof terrace, overlooking many of these attractions. Great location: very short walk to rail station (no taxi needed even with suitcases) and Duomo. Very good breakfast with fantastic rooftop view of Duomo. Adequate space in the room, clean, quiet despite noisy street, VG staff. I would certainly go back, unlike some other alleged 4* hotels we went to in Italy in June 08. more
