I read a few of the other reviews from other people. Were they at the same hotel I was? Our room was beautiful and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would definately stay there again. We have just returned home today from 2 wonderful weeks in Europe. Three of our hotels were wonderful-and then there was the Brunelleschi Hotel. The hotel is dark, dingy and rather grubby. Beds like planks (and we were in refurbished "deluxe" rooms (we think!) 2. Breakfast was poor. Loved the Brunelleschi. The staff were very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The location of this hotel is fabulous - we couldn't believe our luck being so close to the Duomo. the room is ok but the font desk staff is unfriendly and rude to us . they are rule to the asian!!! no room butter, that call 4 start hotel it was a big joke!!! that we have to collect the hot water ourself at the bar. i work in 5* hotel , i call that their service cant even... more
