Hotel Casci is a gem. The facility and room were comfortable, clean, and well equiped. The location is outstanding, walking distance to all major sites, shopping areas, and great restaurants. But best of all is the hotel owners and staff. They treated us like family, not just clients. They were most genuine in their friendliness and interest in our needs.... more

Our booking was made by phone on the day we wanted the accommodation, after our previous accommodation didn't work out. They did everything they could to accommodate us, giving my friend and I single rooms the first night (at no extra cost) as they didn't have a twin, then moving our luggage to our large twin room the next day... more

We recently returned from a wonderful trip to Florence, and spent five nights at the Hotel Casci. It had a terrific off-season rate of 79 Euros per night. It was clean and quiet, and the proprietors were friendly and answered all our questions. By European standards, I thought our twin bedded room was quite spacious. The hotel is very conveniently... more

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Casci for three days in October. We were treated as if we were family. We really enjoyed our stay as our hosts were extraordinary. They gave us great insights to Florence and surrounding area. We are planning a trip next fall and Hotel Casci will be our base for our excursions in northern... more

I was delighted to find this wonderful bed and breakfast hotel in the heart of the old city of Florence, Italy. The staff was very helpful, kind and treated me as if I was a guest in their home. I had a bathroom with shower in my room and both the bedroom and bathroom were spotless, as were all of... more

The Lombardi family that runs this hotel made our time in Florence, Italy a wonderful experience for our small group of friends. They made great recommendations and helped with reservations. All of the advise was right on. The location was perfect for walking to almost everywhere. The hotel itself is quiet, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was also very... more

There is a very good reason why this otherwise modest 2 star hotel in the heart of historic Florence rates so highly in these reviews. In these days of surly or indifferent service, the family which runs the Hotel Casci truly and genuinely care about each of their guests as if they too were members of an extended family. Nothing... more

We just spent several days at the Hotel Casci and were very impressed with everything about it. The location is very convenient to everything. The rooms are clean, comfortable, well appointed, and well cared for. The breakfast is the best one that we had during our two week trip to Italy. But most importantly, the warm reception from the entire... more

I can heartily recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a no frills stay in Florence. It is ideally situated - 10 minute walk from the station, San Lorenzo round the corner, Duomo in sight and the Medici Riccardi next door - so any sightseeing can be easily planned and accomplished. The staff are really friendly - nothing seemed too... more

My husband and I spent 5 nights at this hotel, which is very close to the centre of Florence. You need only short walks to look at the beautiful Duomo or visit the Ponte Vecchio, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Uffizi and the other very interesting museums and churches and the wonderful restaurants. At the hotel we had lovely breakfasts with... more
