The decor in the Mediterranee is definitely dated, but if this isn't an issue for you then the hotel is fine. If you stay here you must book a room with the spectacular view of BOTH Mt. Etna and the sea. True the rooms are small and the bathroom even smaller than usual, but it is worth the trade off. Like a previous reviewer stated, this is the sister hotel not the Lido on the seafront. The Mediterranee is in Toarmina town itself and was just what we expected.
