We have just returned from a truly wonderful week at the Bel Soggiorno. We had read all the great reviews and it was everything we had expected... and more!! Words cannot describe the beautiful views across the sea, along the coast and up to Etna. The hotel is situated part way down the cliff, beneath Taormina. So inevitably there are... more

Bel Soggiorno is a lovely old villa perched above Giardini Naxos on the road up to Taormina. Every room has a balcony or patio overlooking the sea. Mine (room.28) had a patio with views over Giardini, the bay and Mt.Etna. Spectacular views by day or night. The rooms are fairly basic, but had everything you could need AND everything worked... more
