Three of us(older women) stayed at the Hotel La Residenza Verona House and found it to a clean, spacious apartment, very well-run. We had a problem with our toliet upon check-in and were promptly given another room. Everyone was polite and helpful. The only downside is the breakfast, which is a roll and coffee. more

Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a nice homely touch, so it makes a lovely change from commercial chain hotels. Room was more like a small apartment with kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom - great if you want to cook some meals yourself (good reason to buy some quality local produce). Aircon worked brilliantly, TV, radio & CD player... more

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights whilst touring Italy on our honeymoon in 2004. The apartment was large with a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette/living area. Our apartment was decorated and furnished in a high quality 1970's style, complete with a table that pulled out from a wall unit! The staff were friendly, and the hotel was convenient for... more

We loved this place, the room was spatious, clean and quite. The location is great - it took us 5-10 minutes on foot to reach Arena. Staff was absolutely great, very helpful with bus and train schedules, with advice what to see in Verona and its surroundings... We are specially thankful Angela - we were scheduled to arrive to Verona... more

This is our second stay at Verona House. This trip we stayed for 1 week and used it as a base for exploring the region. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The decor is a little tired now but the convenience of having a washing machine, kitchenette etc far out weigh the tired decor. The location is great too, just... more

We have just returned from a long stay at Verona House. We are a family who travel with small kids (5 and 9) and a nanny, so we took two apartments in the Residence. The bare-bones truth? We chose Verona House because taking two apartments was *far* cheaper than two hotel rooms in what will be a really busy (expensive)... more

If you desire a change of pace in traveling and want to experience a little slice of life Italian style, then La Residenza is the place you should go to. Our apartment was just wonderful for our two night stay. We had a stunning view of the Castel Vecchio from our windows which is literally across the street from this... more

We stayed at the Verona house is June. Good location, close to the centrum. Includes Italian breakfast at two nearby cafes (coffee and a croissant) and parking for a small fee - which is helpful with the lack of street parking. Apartment was comfortable (but not luxurious) with a kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. For a weekend stay Euro 180 is... more

Without hestitation the La Residenza Verona House is an excellent buy for your money. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The reservation clerk escorted us to our room to make sure the room met our needs and satisfaction. We encountered no language barrier at all. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from the historic city center and... more
