I guess 'you get what you pay for' would be appropriate here. The room was little over 80 euro a night which was by far the cheapest around in opera season. It is about 15 min walk to the old city but its a very pleasant walk unless your a girl in heels then the cobbled stones might push you... more

My parents, sister and I stayed at the Piccolo and we weren't disappointed. I was a bit worried after the mixed reviews on here but the hotel was absolutely fine.
