This wonderful little find made our trip! Verona was the last stop on a trip through the north of Italy and south of France. We absolutely fell in love with Verona and look forward to returning as often as money and time permit. We were sent to Giulietta e Romeo by Hotel Verona as they were fully booked when we... more

Room (308!) was large, comfortable and quiet with a/c and shutters that opened and closed at the push of a button! Lift - tiny! Bathroom - small, especially the shower but which was nevertheless effective. Breakfast - standard cold buffet but no queues and efficient. Staff - friendly though not effusive. Location - great for the old centre, "stones throw... more

I really liked this hotel. It is in a great location and the service was very good. It is moderate, but above the European norm for moderate. I booked w/my travel agent who was able to get me upgraded at not charge. I would stay again. more

We stayed here for 1 night and chose it mainly due to the location. Its literally a 2 minute walk from the arena. I think it was quite expensive but I realise this is due to the location. Our room was really big by European standards but we found the room quite dark and musty smelling. Very quiet at night... more

Booked this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. My husband and I stayed for three nights before travelling to Limone for a further seven days. The location is fantastic being so central. We were so disapointed with our room 307, it was the smallest room I have ever seen in a hotel! Definately not suitable for a double bed.... more

Just spent a week there and have to say the hotel is very good in a great location close to the Arena. Staff were friendly, the rooms were a good size and very clean. On the down side I would mention the following: There was not much info available on what was going on in Verona...a few booklets and the... more

Booked this hotel based on reviews on Trip Advisor and its location. “Standard” non-smoking room. Two nights at 190 and 150 Euros for Sunday and Monday nights including breakfast. The location is perfect for walking in Verona. Adjacent to the Piazza Bra and the arena. Taxi from the rail station was 12 Euros (“festival” rates). Service from everyone was very... more

WE LOVED THIS HOTEL! The staff was over-the-top friendly. The location is RIGHT in the Piazza Br'a (which was totally fantastic). Plus, this hotel had bikes. HOW MUCH BETTER DOES IT GET?!?!?! Our family checked out bikes everyday for 10 hours strait. You really couldn't have a better location. It is located in the biggest and most happening piazza in... more

We stayed 6 nights, deciding to explore Verona, Padua and Venice without changing hotels. We selected Guilietta e Romeo after reading TripAdvisor and speaking with business associates in Italy. Like most Italian hotels, the rooms are modestly small, but comfortable and clean. The included breakfast is basic, but ample. The best feature of the hotel is it's location, less than... more

We were pleasantly supprised at how good this hotel was considering it has a 3Star rating. It was easily found using GPS in our car and contary to another reviewer complaining about parking we had no problem - the hotel staff took the car away and brought it back when ever we wanted it. The Staff were excellent especially Judith who... more
