My husband and I stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Torcolo at 90Euros per night. The location is unbeatable and service was friendly. There is a lift in this hotel which is great. We had room 35 with a large king size bed. The bed was quite firm which seems to be common in Italia. Lots of space in the... more

My wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel Torcolo and we couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, especially Riccardo. The room was larger than we had expected and the bathroom looked like it was recently remodeled and very clean. Just steps away from the Arena and Piazza Bra, you... more

Lovely small hotel with easy walking to all the areas of interest. We arrived and it was difficult to unload as the street is very small and narrow, so it did cause a traffic jam. As we were only staying one night, we left the main luggage in the van, and just took some of the cases in with us.... more

The 2-star Hotel Torcolo is frequently recommended for its location and value, so we felt we couldn't go wrong here for an overnight stay. And it was all true. From the first friendly e-mail from Catarina, everything was great. Our large room, No. 35, was simply furnished, with a marvelously comfortable bed. There were extra pillows and blankets in the... more

I would like to add a few comments to the review by my sister, Janine Canon City CO: "Wonderful Hotel Torcolo." We have always felt well-treated when traveling in Italy but we found Hotel Torcolo provided exceptional hospitality. All the staff were very friendly and solicitous of our comfort, but Sylvia and Caterina quickly made us feel we were like... more

My sister and I spent a week in Verona and were thrilled with the Hotel Torcolo. It is very convenient due to its central location especially given its proximity to Piazza Bra. We were able to spend the day sightseeing in Verona and easily get back to the hotel when we needed to. In addition, we could catch a bus... more

This place is very central and the staff helpful but I was a bit dissapointed with my room. The room was a somewhat dated and looked over a pretty drab internal courtyard. Also it was small with the main wall running all the way along the corridor so not really that quiet either. more

A charming small hotel right in the heart of the old town. Rooms were good value for money, with plenty of hot water and a small tv and minibar. Reception was extremely friendly and tried to assist in getting parking. However this proved to be difficult, the best option is not to arrive with your own car. Being right inside... more

We chose this hotel based on the reviews on TA. The number 4 rating Hotel Torcolo gets, is absolutely spot on. The hotel is a perfect place to spend a couple of days and a good base to visit Venezia, Padua or Lake Garda. We found the three ladies who run the hotel Caterina, Silvia and Diana, as well as... more

We stayed one night at the Hotel Torcolo during a 3 week trip around Italy and were delighted with our choice after reading great reviews in guide books and on Trip Advisor. The hotel is in a fantastic location just off the main square where the opera arena is located and a short bus ride from the train station. The... more
